Sons of Hidden is a Colombian live techno project shaped by more than fifteen years within Latin America’s electronic music scene. Its musical language draws from the landscapes, rhythms and collective memory of the Andean region, establishing a dialogue between ancestral references and contemporary club culture. The project takes inspiration from the Law of Correspondence: the idea that different planes of existence reflect and interact with one another. Through this lens, Sons of Hidden approaches sound as a meeting point between nature and technology, introspection and movement, organic textures and mechanical precision.
Rooted in classic techno, the music combines driving grooves, hypnotic tension and polyrhythmic structures with elements of glitch, dark jazz, breakbeat, hip-hop and jungle. Andean instrumentation, field recordings and synthesised soundscapes add an organic and cinematic dimension. The result is a distinctive form of deep, textural techno that remains physical on the dance floor while carrying a strong narrative and emotional identity.
Presented as a fully live performance, Sons of Hidden transforms original productions into evolving arrangements, creating an immersive dialogue between rhythm, atmosphere and improvisation. Rather than simply reproducing finished tracks, the live act allows the music to shift in real time, giving each performance its own character.
The project’s catalogue includes releases on respected international imprints such as Key Vinyl, IMF, Emerald, Planet X, BCCO, Suara, Positive Source, Illegal Alien and Gomboc, alongside Mammboh Rhythms, its own label and platform for an expanding artistic universe. The music has received support from leading figures including Freddy K, Ben Klock, Rødhåd, Yanamaste, Alarico, JKS, SHDW, Nastia, Funk Assault, Chlär, ANNE, The Advent and Truncate, and has resonated across dance floors including Berghain, Awakenings, Tresor and Fabrik.
Following an extensive career touring throughout Latin America and several years releasing through prominent European labels, Sons of Hidden began establishing a growing presence on the European circuit. A defining step came in 2026, when Freddy K invited the project to perform at Stone Techno Festival. This was followed by appearances at key venues and platforms including RADION, Else, BASIS, opening a significant new chapter in its international development.
With an ambitious schedule of forthcoming releases and a rapidly expanding international profile, Sons of Hidden is entering its most significant phase to date—bringing a distinctly Latin American and Andean perspective to contemporary techno through a live performance built around sound, movement and transformation.
