New Digital Fidelity

Paolo Aniello (aka New Digital Fidelity) is a producer and DJ based in London, UK. Paolo was born and raised in Bari, Southern Italy, where he started producing music at age 13. Despite being heavily influenced by Deep House and Detroit house artists, his musical background is broad due to the "art of sampling." He explores old records and uses those sounds to create something new. His career started early on in his life when he began producing and releasing music. In 2011, at 17 years old, he released his first vinyl EP on the German record label Strictly Chosen under the alias Peter JD. He has also collaborated with music producers and record labels such as Chez Damier, Balance Alliance, Jenifa Mayanja, Michael Zucker (on The Prophet of the New Generation), and more (which you can find on his Discogs page). In 2014, he co-founded a Detroit techno record label with his long-time friend Nico Lahs, where they released two EPs and collaborated with multiple artists such as Scan 7, Pacou, and Terrence Dixon. In 2018, he moved to London, where he experimented with and studied sound theory to develop new skills as a sound, design, and music producer. In the meantime, the New Digital Fidelity project was born, with a debut EP on the historical German record label Snuff Trax. He has featured in radio shows at Kiosk and Balamii. In 2023, NDF started a new record label, Scopic Records, where the first two releases are EPs that he has produced, featuring remixes by Byron The Aquarius and K15. Simultaneously, he released his EP on the historical Detroit record label Moods and Groove, including a remix by Fred P. Currently, he has new solo releases and is working on his record label and remixing artists such as Hanna.
