When I am silent, I fall into the place where everything is music”. Rumi
For Aida Arko, music is something you feel before you understand it. It’s not just about sound, it’s about emotion, instinct, and connection.
Born with Persian roots, her artistic voice is shaped by a culture where poetry, rhythm, and storytelling are deeply connected. That influence still runs through everything she creates today. Her sound isn’t something she tries to fit into a genre. It’s something that develops naturally, driven by feeling and atmosphere
Her journey hasn’t been straightforward. Growing up in Iran with a single mother, she learned early on how to be independent and determined. She first studied biology, then spent years performing and touring with circuses around the world. Both worlds required discipline and focus, but eventually she felt the need to step away from structure and fully follow her instinct for music.
After moving to Vienna in 2016, and later spending time in Berlin, she became part of the European underground scene. She is now based in Ibiza, where her environment continues to influence her creatively. Along the way, she built strong connections with spaces like Grelle Forelle and collectives like Gegen Collective, places where the dancefloor is about real energy and shared experience.
Her sets move between deep, hypnotic moments and high-intensity peaks, always focused on creating a journey. She has played at events and venues such as Boiler Room x Teletech, Amnesia Ibiza, SoundStorm, Terminal V, Verknipt, FOLD London, RSO Berlin, Fabrik Madrid, Arzenal Budapest, and AFAS Live.
In the studio, she follows the same instinctive approach. Her music has been released on Soma Records, HEKATE, Gegen Records, Techno Germany, BPitch Control, Suara, and EXHALE Recordings, as well as on her own platform, Ark Angel, where she has full creative freedom. Each release reflects a different part of her, evolving but always honest.
At its core, Aida Arko’s work is about expression without limits. She represents a generation of artists who are shaping electronic music through authenticity rather than expectation.
